Your doctors
Doctors you can come back to
At Basuto, you see doctors who are part of the practice, not a changing rota of unfamiliar faces.
Every doctor here is GMC registered, experienced in general practice, and have been carefully selected. Before you book, you can see who you will be seeing, their qualifications, GMC number, and their clinical interests.
Together, our doctors cover the breadth of general practice, with particular experience in women’s health, men’s health, paediatrics, ENT, psychiatry, nutrition, and hair and skin health.
Appointments are 30 minutes as standard.
The team is small, and that is deliberate: it is what makes it possible to see the same doctor each time you visit, and for that doctor to actually remember you.

Continuity
How to see the same doctor each time
You can request any of our doctors by name when booking online or by phone, subject to their clinic days. If you are not sure who to see, reception can suggest the doctor whose interests best fit your concern – or simply book the earliest appointment and take it from there.
Members are assigned a named GP as standard, which keeps your care with one doctor over time. Pay-as-you-go patients can request the same doctor at every visit too; continuity is not reserved for members, though members get priority when diaries are tight.
Booking
Book with the doctor of your choice
Book online and choose your preferred doctor and time, or call 020 7736 7557 and reception will match you to the right GP. Same-day appointments are usually available Monday to Friday where capacity allows.
If you expect to visit regularly, membership from £30 a month adds priority booking and a named GP.
