Book a private GP appointment online in a few minutes. Choose whether you are booking as an existing member or paying as you go, then pick your appointment type, doctor and time. Consultations last 30 minutes and cost £160 for adults and £140 for children, with same-day appointments usually available Monday to Friday. You do not need to be registered with us to book.

How online booking works
1. Choose your appointment. Pick the appointment type, your preferred doctor and a time that suits you. Same-day slots are usually available Monday to Friday where capacity allows.
2. Confirm your details. It takes about two minutes. If you are paying as you go, you pay securely online when you book.
3. See your doctor. Come to 29 Basuto Road, three minutes from Parsons Green – or join by video where clinically appropriate, at the same fee.

Good to know
Before you book
- Your £160 consultation includes any private prescription and referral letters where clinically appropriate – you only pay the pharmacy for the medicine itself. Children’s consultations are £140.
- There is no catchment area. Patients visit us from Fulham, Chelsea, Putney, Hammersmith and Battersea – and beyond.
- You keep your NHS GP. Private care at Basuto runs alongside your NHS care, not instead of it.
- Plans change – we ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, otherwise the full consultation fee applies.
- First appointment? In person is ideal, but video works too – 30 minutes with a doctor either way.

Booking questions
Do I need to register before I can book?
No. Choose “Pay as you go” and book straight away – there is nothing to join and no registration fee. Members simply book through the member option to use their benefits.
How quickly can I be seen?
Same-day appointments usually run Monday to Friday where capacity allows. For the best chance of a same-day slot, call before 10am.
Can I choose which doctor I see?
Yes, subject to availability. The booking flow lets you pick your preferred doctor and shows their next available times, so you can weigh the doctor against the wait.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Give us 24 hours’ notice and there is no charge – use your booking confirmation or call 020 7736 7557. With less than 24 hours’ notice, the full consultation fee may apply.
